5 of Our Favorite Toyota Safety Features
We believe peace of mind should come standard, and here at Priority Toyota Springfield, that belief is built into nearly every new Toyota model we sell. Toyota Safety Senseâ„¢ 3.0 is standard on most new models and includes some of the most practical active safety technology on the road today. Here are five Toyota safety features we love showing our customers.
Pre-Collision System with Pedestrian Detection
The Pre-Collision System uses a forward-facing camera and radar to detect vehicles, pedestrians, bicyclists, and motorcyclists ahead. If the driver doesn’t respond to an alert, the system is designed to apply automatic emergency braking to help reduce or avoid a collision.
Full-Speed Range Dynamic Radar Cruise Control
This adaptive cruise system maintains a preset following distance from the vehicle ahead, including coming to a complete stop in traffic and resuming automatically. It removes much of the stress from your daily I-95 commute.
Lane Departure Alert with Steering Assist
When the Lane Departure Alert system detects an unintended lane departure at speeds above 30 mph, it issues an audio and visual alert and provides gentle corrective steering to guide your vehicle back into its lane.
Automatic High Beams
At speeds above 21 mph, Automatic High Beams detect oncoming headlights and preceding taillights, automatically toggling between high and low beams so drivers always have the visibility they need without the distraction of managing it manually.
Proactive Driving Assist
New to Toyota Safety Sense 3.0, Proactive Driving Assist provides gentle braking and steering to help maintain safe distances from vehicles, pedestrians, and cyclists ahead. It also reduces speed when approaching certain curves.
